On Monday 29th June a large number of members of the NWTA enjoyed a bus tour around Nuneaton and Bedworth.
The bus, a 1966 Midland Red double decker is owned and driven by one of our members, Ashley Wakelin of Midland Red Coaches.
Members were treated to a mini George Eliot tour by john Burton, the Chairman of the George Eliot Fellowship.
On the bus with us were the mayor and mayoress of Nuneaton and Bedworth, the mayor of North Warwickshire and the editor of 'Warwickshire Life'.
Another trip for member around the north western part of the area is being planned for September.
