Second Award for Nuneaton Market
‘Best Market Attraction’ in Britain – this was the opinion of
the judges of the industry’s most professional panel. A shocked and delighted Alan Ottey was proud
to accept the Award when he attended the National Association of British Market
Authorities (NABMA) Annual Conference at Birmingham Town Hall. In the history of the awards, this is the
first time a Market has won in consecutive years. The Award is one-up from last year as it
takes into account the street entertainment, the atmosphere and our involvement
with the community such as the Friends of the Market Group. At a time when things are so hard, this is
excellent news for the town.
